Jenny's Child Care

My name is Jenny Vargo. I 'm interested in caring for children part-time in my home. I 'm a certified elementary teacher. Currently I 'm a substitute teacher at Bentworth, Canon-McMillan, and Trinity School districts.
I have experience teaching children from Pre-K to twelfth grade. I 've also taught students in autistic, emotional, and learning support classrooms. As a teacher I 've gained oral, written, and interpersonal skills. I accurately follow the teacher 's instructions. I correspond thoroughly to the teacher on what was accomplished.
I was selected to fill in for a first grade teacher on maternity leave. During that time, I helped students increase reading fluency following small group instruction. I also collaborated with other teachers on lesson plans. I supervised two field trips. I communicated and cooperated with parents through phone calls, emails, newsletters, and conferences.
I 'm very energetic, patient, and easy-going. I love to read with children. I love arts and crafts. I feel the greatest reward of being a teacher is seeing children learn to succeed. I also know many educational songs and I love to sing. I enjoy playing outside.
I 'm also the mother of a twenty month old daughter. She has given me more experience in a year that I 've had in my years of subbing. I 'm very familiar with diaper changing, diaper rashes, potty training, breast feeding, formula feeding, illness, teething, tantrums, separation anxiety, and more. I understand how difficult it is to leave your child. The safety of your child is my first priority. I also understand the need of sticking to your child 's routine.
My daughter will also be home with me. She is very easy-going and loves children. She loves to sing, dance, play pretend, and go outside. As a teacher, I 'm used to caring for many students at once. I 'm confident that I can provide care for your children as well as my own.
I have toys here that your child will enjoy. We have an indoor slide, a play kitchen, Legos, and educational games. I also have a spare infant car seat, a mamaroo, high chair, booster seat, potty chair, strollers and a saucer.
