I am a mother with professional training in Child Development and Early Childhood Education. I have worked for both McKinney and Plano Independent School Districts in their Special Education Department. I have also run a successful in-home preschool for several years. For the past few years, I have been a private Nanny working outside my home, but now that he will be in school full-time, I'm looking to expand and get back to running an in-home preschool. I provide a healthy lunch, along with 2 snacks daily. I provide situations encouraging cooperative play, independent play, circle time, music and movement, math, art, writing and literacy, as well as social skills and outdoor play twice daily (weather permitting). I am an educator, not just a babysitter, so you can rest assured that your child will be better prepared for Kindergarten, both socially and academically. Through both teacher and child directed activities, your child will have a great deal of fun, while learning! I have a number of excellent references and am listed with the state, which requires I follow the standards and regulations enforced by the Texas DFPS and have cleared a background check.
