Jen's Daycare

Hi my name is Jennifer Moffatt and I just recently moved back to Lubbock from Andrews. While I was in Andrews I was approached by a friend to become certified as a Listed Family Home through the DFPS so I could start my own daycare. So I did and have loved it! I have 2 children of my own, both girls, ages 4 and 2 and have been very blessed to be able to stay home with them since they were born. I understand the need for both parents to work and that's hard enough by itself, let alone having to worry about the well being of your children while you're gone all day! Therefore I strive to provide a safe, comfortable environment for your children so you can have peace of mind throughout your day and enjoy your job! I provide a Christian based curriculum which includes a little prayer before meals and learning a bible verse, but most importantly teaching our kids how much Jesus loves them! In addition to these core values in instill, I follow a schedule which includes doing a preschool lesson, such as leaning colors, abc's, shapes, numbers, etc. (for those of age), playtime, snack time, quiet time, craft time, etc. But most importantly I want them to engage with each other and HAVE FUN!! My goal when I was in Andrews was that at the end of the day the kids didn't want to leave! I had moms telling me that it was a special treat for the kids to come to my house and that is what makes it all worth it. I love seeing these children grow and develop and enjoy life. Since I have 2 kids of my own, the maximum amount of kids I will accept is 4 kids. My hours are 8-5:30, M-F (I am flexible with this) and my rate is $25/day per child.
