Jefferson Hills Summer Recreation Camp

Jefferson Hills Summer Recreation Program will begin Thursday, July 5 and continue through Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 9:00am - Noon. This program is available to children ages 5 through 8. The children rotate through various centers and enjoy stories, snack, free play, and structured games. I am looking for individuals over the age of 18 to be hired on as counselors. I am looking for fun and energetic individuals who would enjoy working with young children. I have a variety of openings available, including:

Leaders: These individuals will be in charge of the same group of children each day. They will move with them as they rotate through all of the stations. These people must be able to get the attention of the children and ensure that they are following directions while staying safe.

Free Play: These individuals will oversee children as they are allowed to play freely. This position is less formal and allows for interaction with all children in a relaxed manner.

Craft: These individuals will be required to give directions to the children in order for them to complete a craft. In addition to that, they must be able to assist young children as they create their own masterpiece. Don t worry, none of the crafts are too difficult so it doesn t matter if you don t consider yourself artistic
