My name is Janna I have ran an in-home daycare for the past 10 years now. My husband is a Jeffersonville police officer and has been on the force for 10 years as well. Our in home daycare is ran so that the kids can feel at home. I would rather them feel as though this is their second home instead of a facility. My husband and I have a four children ages 15 to 7. I have tons of references from amazing families that have transitioned to school age children. The hardest part of this job is saying goodbye to the kids when they go off to kindergarten. Knowing your job is done And that they will not be there on a daily basis as part of your family.
