I am a mother of 2 and have been watching other children since I was 12 years old. I am now 23 and still enjoy it. I believe that a child should feel at home and feel safe where they are while their parent or guardian is away. I make sure that the children are not only entertained but that they are also learning. Education starts at home and I want children to feel at home. It has been in my own past experience that kids are often left with someone and don't want to go back or are not properly taken care of. I make sure that children are fed, clean, and listened to. Children want to share with you how they feel and become familiar with you. I personally don't like the "daycare" setting because there is little one-on-one time with the child and they are often ignored or even left feeling abandoned. Come on it is even really expensive. I work with my parents through building trust with them and even taking in account that financial emergencies happen as long as they remember that I need what they can give. Okay so a little about my household, I am married and my son is 3 and daughter is 1. We just got a puppy and we do have allergies in my family to all nuts among other slight household allergies. I keep the house in an orderly fashion because of these factors. My home is not perfect but I make sure it is safe and will make adjustments to fit my customers needs.
