I am a mother of 4 boys with 19 yrs of experience in providing childcare out of my home. We treat each family as if they were our own and still keep in contact with all the families we have met throughout the years. My past families have come from all over my area because I am very close to 71 and 275.

Our main #1 rule is to have lots of fun! Since I am an Award winning artist, I will draw my own pages for the kids to color. Sometimes at the end of the day, they leave me with homework of what they want for the next day.

I ask that the parents provide lunches in a lunchbox or bag. I will put out the healthy stuff out first and if they do not eat it all, I will save it for later. The lunchbox is a great way for me to put notices or reminders in. Such as a week vacation we are taking or your child is low on diapers in their bin.

I am very reliable. My husband will take off work for our boys dental check ups and such so I can be here everyday for the kids. However, our 15 yr old has Friedrich's Ataxia, so once a year we have to go to an all day clinic where we both like to attend and I will give weeks sometimes months notice so other plans can be made.

Sick Days ~ "Knock on wood", I have not had to call off for a sick day in about 7 yrs. YOU DO NOT PAY IF YOU ARE NOT HERE. If your child is sick, I do not ask that you pay because I would rather you stay home with them rather than pay me for the others to get sick. This helps keep sickness out so I am able to care for your child and others every day. They are not to attend if they have a fever over 99.9, vomiting, diarrhea, cough causing them to vomit or unexplained or unusual rashes not checked out by the Dr.

I do ask that if parents plan on not coming or are taking a vacation that they let me know as soon as possible.
