Hello! My name is Jami and I live in Manassas Park, VA with my husband of 3 years who works in Springfield for the DOD. I am currently expecting a baby in October and looking to begin the process of opening up my home to a couple of other children starting in February of 2016. I believe that other children in my home will be a positive thing for the development of our infant. I adore children and am extremely excited to being this wonderful journey.

I will be offering childcare to infant- age 12 children M-F from 6:30AM-6PM. These hours, however, are just a baseline- I am very flexible! The occassional Saturday-Sunday are available with advance notice and if agreed upon by myself (not guaranteed).

I am a part-time photographer (jamimcdowell.com) and usually reserve the weekends for my business and family. In addition to my work as a photographer, I have spent the last year substitute teaching for Manassas Park Public Schools. I enjoy art in all forms- I am a singer/songwriter/guitarist/photographer. I live a healthy and active lifestyle and enjoy farmers markets, kayaking, hiking, camping, etc....

I have years of experience nannying and would be happy to provide you with a recent reference upon request.

Our home will be equiped with all that your child will need for a fun, educational, and safe experience. I am very hands on and believe strongly in engaging in children. At the same time, I encourage and facilitate independent and imaginative play.

If you have an older child requiring meals, I am happy to provide a well rounded and nutritional breakfast, lunch, and snack(s) for an additional weekly fee (TBD). Dinner is also optional.

Pick-up/Drop-off is NOT available, however, after-school bus stops are located nearby and I would be happy to meet your child at the bus stop.

I will require bi-monthly payments and accept paypal, check, or cash. Prices will vary depending on your need throughout the week. Sibling pairs are encouraged!
