I normally never leave reviews but this experience was so disappointing I want to be sure to share it other dogs parents. I was looking for a new groomer due to our previous groomer no longer being available; she was the best but we weren't able to follow her. I found this place, Jackie's Grooming Spa & Hotel. Based on the reviews, photos, and information I received via a phone consult with Jackie, I decided to book an appointment. I spoke with Jackie and inquired about pricing for a medium size dog; I also informed her of his breed (miniature Sheepadoodle, weighing 31lbs). She informed me the price would be between $70-$90, depending on if his hair was matted. When I arrived to the appointment, I checked in the Jackie and we discussed a haircut (at which is reviewed his coat and there was no matting) and I was never informed my dog would be considered a large breed in her opinion or extra charges included based on his coat. Around 2:00pm, I received a phone call and text message stating services were complete and the price being $135. She never provided an itemized statement justifying the $135 based on the services rendered. I reminded her of the conversation prior to booking the appointment. Her response was "No I never confirm prices over the phone I give idea what could be basically on information u give to me , but is not small or medium is considering large size. I don't go by lbs , I go by size and hair. Medium is a coocker spaniel , or a medium spring spaniel. My Shitzu, yorkie , maltêse is $70 they are small breed". SHE DID NOT INFORM ME THIS during the phone consult nor the morning of drop off. When I arrived for pickup, I expressed concern regarding the lack of transparency about pricing. She stated, "I need to be able to pay my employees and in this area...." At which I stopped her stating, "I live and work in this area so money is not the issue, it's your lack of transparency". It presented as if the $135 was justified by the location of the grooming center. I informed her "I believe in paying for services but principle is just as important to me". Hope this helps the next person.

Terrible service all around

Never take your dog here. There are so many other places to go where the staff is friendly, the operation is organized, and the store is clean and inviting. This place doesn't check any of those boxes and they will keep your dog the entire day because they overbook knowing they are understaffed and the owner Ms Jackie is always late or has something else going on outside of running her business right. She is also rude and has cursed at me and many others who share any dissatisfaction towards her and her staffs antics. She was consistently chopping my dogs hair up and pulling her bows so tight that her eyes bulged from her head. When I told her to adjust them she said "oh its always something" When I told her she doesn't have to worry about us anymore and I won't be back she told me to get the f out of her store and to go back to where I came from!

We left our very anxious 13 year old morkie with Jackie for 5 nights. She was so attentive and patient with Samantha. Jackie would text, facetime and send pictures to let us know Samantha was ok. I would leave her anytime with Jackie. Thank you Jackie!

I am so happy with Jackie's, they did a wonderful job on my dog! For sure we are going back, and we want to try the day care as well.

Gucci spent the morning being groomed at Jackie's Spa and Hotel. It was her first time there. They did a wonderful job and she looked beautiful! Teeth, nails great cut and came out smiling with a nice bow. The people there, including Jackie, were so kind. I highly recommend this groomer we will continue to go there for all of our grooming needs.
