Ivy League Academy has a comprehensive infant/toddler preschool early learning program that supports Maryland Public Schools Common Core Curriculum learning. Now Accepting ages 2-5. UNIFORMED SCHOOL ENVIRONMENT. Includes: morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.

Our quality educational programs and assessments focus comprehensively on all child development.

Our PROGRAM believes the adult-child interaction is the process of working alongside children and communicating with them both verbally and non-verbally to encourage learning. This strategy allows us to support the children as they play, encouragement instead of praise, and taking a problem-solving approach to conflict. Children engage in both individual and social play, participate in small-and large-group activities, assist with clean-up, socialize during meals, develop self-care skills, and exercise their small and large muscles.

Our CURRICULUM offers the children opportunities to explore different approaches to learning, social and emotional development, physical development and health, language, literacy, and communication, mathematics, creative arts, science and technology, social studies, educational field trips, free play, outdoor activities, weekly library, and meals. Our program takes the learning process beyond traditional subjects by applying methods that promote independence, curiosity, decision making, cooperation, persistence, creativity, and problem solving in young children.

We believe that children learn best through play. Therefore, we allow ample opportunity for children to enjoy themselves while learning to become life-long learners.

Provider has over 25 years of childcare experience through raising 3 children ages 17-27, therapeutic foster parent to over 10 children, leadership role in youth organization, have completed all the necessary training and courses required by Prince George's County and Maryland State Department of Education, and also have a Bachelor's and MBA in business. Education is a integral part of the development of children. For this reason quality early childhood education will provide the child with the foundation needed to become life-long learners.
