About
Literacy Alive is an event designed to promote literacy among children, especially at the elementary age. Although it is an annual project, a lot of big changes have taken place over the past year. This year, Indiana University's School of Education students, in the honor society Kappa Delta Pi collaborated with local elementary schools to put on monthly read alouds. Although we only collaborated with a couple of schools, any elementary aged child is welcome at our event! This year, we will be hosting our event at the Monroe County Public Library on Saturday, April 2, from 1 pm - 3 pm. This year our theme is Around the World.
