Itty Bitty's Organic Family Child Care

Welcome to itty bitty's! We offer childcare for children ages newborn to 4 years old. Our goal is to provide an environment that is fun and loving while you are away from your child. Our program is designed to encourage social, intellectual, and physical development. With a low teacher to child ratio, you can rest assured that your child will receive the individualized care they deserve so they are able to reach their full potential.

Being in a home atmosphere will allow your child to feel nurtured and safe. They will be stimulated and encouraged to explore on a daily basis.

We are in the process of becoming registered with the state and follow state guidelines accordingly. Expect daily notes and updates on your child. These notes are to be read and addressed in a time appropriate manner. Communication is key for parents and any other person involved in a child's life.

Many children will spend 40 hours per week or more at a daycare center. We take this responsibility of caring for your child very seriously. Thank you for visiting and we look forward to being yet another positive influence in your child's life!

I am a former elementary school teacher with daycare experience. With my daycare comes fun, hands-on learning! I have a Master's Degree in Education from Virginia Tech and I am certified in CPR and First Aid. My facility is located in a secured entry building and provides a great atmosphere. As a new mom, I have included everything in this daycare that I could not find in other daycares during my search.

Education is very important and some of the most critical years for development are birth-age 5. You will not find movies that claim to encourage early reading or vocabulary being played all day here (they have actually been proven to hinder development). At itty bitty's, your child will benefit from a curriculum program called "TEACH MY" for them to explore and discover. Topics such as first words, first numbers, sounds, self, colors, alphabet, and more will be taught through this program. This award-winning program will be implemented on children beginning as early as 6 months.

I absolutely love working with children. I treat the children I work with as though they were my own. It is a privilege to care for them and become a part of their lives. It gives me such fulfillment to help mold their lives every day. This is an extremely rewarding career and I am lucky to be a part of it.
