It's Better To Give Care & Learning Center For Children

Mission Statement: Our mission is to teach, empower and encourage all of our children to embrace the good characteristics within each of them and to help them develop in the areas of education, self-awareness and social interaction. We will also create an inviting atmosphere where children are able to learn, interact, discover and adapt in an ever changing environment.

Objective/Goal: We are striving to create a positive, nurturing and uplifting care/learning environment through providing each child with one-on-one guidance and implementing daily practices that result in the development of moral behavior, positive character, confidence and creativity, as well as preparation for their educational journey.

Services: Child care including but not limited to meal preparation and feeding (if applicable), daily instructional and before and after-school programs, homework assistance/tutoring, toilet training, transportation (upon request and if availability permits).

The acceptable ages are from 6 weeks to 13 years old.

Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (extended hours may be available on a case by case basis).

We are a Registered Child Care Home with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services.

Owner: Krichon White:
I am a native of Dayton, graduate of Dayton High School and Lamar University (Beaumont) and I first began taking care of children when I was 13 years old. Being the oldest of four, I helped my single mother with my three sisters including cooking, cleaning, laundry, bathing, dressing, feeding, help with homework and much more. I have an entrenched love and appreciation for family and for God, who is the center of my world and #1 in my life. I have been married to my husband, Leslie White, for 10 years. We have two beautiful blessings that God gave us for children, our daughter (7 yo) and son (3 yo). Our children along with the convictions from God inspire me to be a positive source for children and people of all ages. Supporting and helping others in one way or another is the greatest part of me and I love that God has given me the gifts of concern, compassion, sacrifice and selflessness for others.
