In-Home Daycare

I have been doing in home day care for over 15 years now. I offer weekend as well as some 2nd. and 3rd. shift care. I am very reliable and all ways give as much notice as possible if I do need a day off. I will gladly provide references. I haven't had a new client in a while because I get very attached to the kids I keep and do not give them up easily. The best description of my day care is I am a paid grandma. I do respect the parents wishes and do my best to provide care that is as much like home as possible. I will all ways follow and support the parents rules and wishes. I believe that the biggest thing that makes my day care so much different than others ... is the fact that I strive to make every contract a long term relationship. I want to be a lasting part of each child's life. I want to be an asset to the parents and encourage my parents to talk to me when they are unhappy about something, or if they would prefer that I handle a situation differently. I find that lots of communication is the key to a long term contract.
