Integrated Mandarin incorporates Mandarin learning into your child's school curriculum. Students encounter the knowledge they learn in class in Mandarin simultaneously--and apply it immediately to their homework.
Integrated Mandarin is developed by an University of Chicago alumnus with years of experience as an editor and education consultant in Beijing. It is based on the principle that achieving full language fluency requires meaningful engagement outside of the classroom.
It recognizes at the same time that independent study suffers from the lack of contextual relevance, leaving students with minimum vocabulary and little intuition for how to navigate real world communication even after years of study.
Integrated Mandarin is designed specifically to expose students to Mandarin within the structure and context created by their academic education. By reinforcing their day curriculum in Mandarin, student learn to think in a truly bilingual manner about the ideas they are encountering in their daily course of study.
