In My Home

Hello, my name is Katie and I am offering quality in home care!
About me, I am 20 years old and live in an apartment in South Norfolk area of Chesapeake!
My home is clean, well kept, and typically quiet (well as quiet as you can be with munchkins!)
We are a smoke free home; however we do own 2 cats they stay out of the room with the kids.
I have been watching children for the last 6 years; I have experience ranging from 4 months to 12 years.
I provide Morning snacks, Breakfast, Afternoon Snack, Lunch, and an evening snack.
Each parent will need to provide with diapers and wipes.
Our daily routine includes working on our colors, our numbers, circle reading time, arts and crafts and of course nap time!
On Mondays we head to the library and each pick out a book for the week!
Once a week we have our Outings
Outings includes (parents will be given the week schedule at the beginning of the week, schedule is subject to change due to weather!!) Swim time at the neighborhood park, going to fun forests park, Zoo, Aquarium, Water day , Bounce Houses, Library s for Story times and many many more!
I am currently taking my CPR and first Aid classes.
I recently had 2 children move away (ages 4 and 9) so currently I only have a 7 month old who would love more friends!
Drop off/ Pickup is between 6:30 am- 7 pm.
Other hours are available if discussed beforehand!
School age children are more than welcome; they will have a quiet area to work on homework (which we have no issues assisting with!)
****Weekends, last minute calls, date nights, overnights are more than welcome****
Our goal is to provide each parent with ease and security that their child is happy and safe in a loving environment. For that reason communication is a strong key, you are welcome to call/text/email me as often as you need to throughout the day to check on your munchkin!
We understand every child and family is different, much like their financial needs. We work hard to provide quality loving care that is custom fit to your financial needs. For that reason rates vary.
