I am an experienced mother with ten years teaching experience. I am available both for occasional babysitting and regularly scheduled care.
I was a Montessori elementary teacher, a yoga teacher, then a mother, and for the last year and a half I have been working full time teaching art and caring for 2-4 year old children. I have three children ages 2, 4, and 10. I can work with what works best for you--Do you prefer to keep your child on a schedule, or follow the child's needs?
Our home has lovely indoor and outdoor play space and parks within walking distance. I believe that lots of play and outdoor time is essential for healthy development. In a nut shell, my role is to encourage play that promotes "grace and courtesy," loving kindness, and healthy development. I nurture children who are working on age appropriate skills and concepts through their play.
