I offer care Monday through Friday, and my hours are somewhat flexible according to the needs of the families I serve. I have 20 years of childcare experience including 3 years as a mother to my amazing daughter. I keep a very low ratio for the day-care to ensure that each child gets plenty of attention. I support breastfeeding and can offer resources and help if desired. Babies are not forced to "cry it out" in my home; they are comforted. We have a big backyard with a play set, a baby swing, and two tire swings. Indoors, we don't watch TV during the day. Instead we play with toys, puzzles, and games. We listen to music, dance, and learn skills like taking turns and picking up. We're pretty simple around here, more like a home than an institution.
