My name is Lidia Prado, I'm a retired teacher with over 50 years of experience. My career began in Santiago de Cuba in 1963 until 1968. Upon leaving my country I worked in Spain as a teacher from 1972 until 1977. After leaving Spain, we moved to Puerto Rico where I dedicated my time to be a full time mom, however, I went back to teach 1985-1987. In 1987 we decided to move to Miami, where I decided to dedicate my time to my teenage daughter. However, I decided to go back to teaching during 1989 to 1992. In 2010 I decided to enroll in Miami Dade College Kendall Campus in the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) from Birth-Five. I completed all courses. These to include: Pre-School Appropriate Practices certificate # 2673717/ Child Growth and Developement certificate # 2673924/Child Care Facility Rules and Regulations certificate # 2670833/ Health Safety and Nutrition certificate # 2673910/ Identifying and Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect certificate # 2673917/ Behavioral Observational Screening certificate # 2673930. I successfully completed program and received a certificate of The Florida Department of Children and Families Child Care Services certifying me as a Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Birth-Five certificate # 355666. I also have copies of Background check upon request.
I'm dedicated, honest, caring, believe in structure, discipline and enthusiastic. I believe in caring, nurturing and loving children. I believe in helping parents as times now are so difficult. In me you can trust that your baby will feel as if they will be home.
