In-home Afternoon Care With Cameras

We are not a licensed day care. We are babysitters. You or I could buy camera(s) and install it in our house so that you can watch us via live streaming, because I completely understand parents' need for transparency. We will babysit only up to 3, ideally 1 or 2 kids. My husband, our 4-year old son, and I will all be at home.

$5-8/hour is enough. My price is very low because: 1. Few people look for the afternoon hours we provide. 2. We have enough income from my job. Our son is our only child, and can't get any social opportunities with other kid(s) when he's not at school. We spend all afternoons/weekends entertaining him anyways. Why not entertain multiple kids at the same time and help improve my son's social skills? My son goes to a preschool 7:30AM-12:30PM M-F, so we would babysit 12:30-5pm every weekday and the entire weekends. You can choose any number of afternoon(s)/day(s) you want.

I will be working on my computer while watching the kids. My husband will closely supervise their free play and do activities with them. We will make sure the kids are safe and happy. My son stopped napping and doesn't eat any snack. If your child(ren) needs nap or snack, we can provide them. If your house is less than 10 minutes away from mine (zip code 64134), we can do it at your house if you want.

I am a software engineer working from home for a large corporation, and have been with the same employer for 8+ years. My husband is a stay at home dad. He's very good at playing with kids. He worked as a substitute paraprofessional with special needs children in a public school for 3 years in Minnesota. I came from China in 2020. My husband came from MN. We have no relatives and not many friends here, which is part of the reason why we look for things to do such as babysitting. I am CPR & First Aid certified.
