I have 10 years of experience as a computer and technology support technician at a large, local manufacturing company. I am completing a BS in Elementary Education and have completed student teaching requirements in Sheboygan at a public elementary and private middle school.
When asked about my career change, I say: "Teaching is my passion. I come from a family of MANY teachers - it's in my blood! I was able to use some of my teaching skills in my previous job through teaching Workplace Education classes (MS Office basics) and through my previous experiences as a Girl Scout troop leader and softball coach, but I have found that I am most satisfied at the end of a day sharing my knowledge and experience with students!"
