The Huntington Learning Center in Gaithersburg center first opened in 1994. Since then, we have prided ourselves in becoming the number one provider of tutoring in the greater Gaithersburg area. We also are active members within our community through the Gaithersburg Chamber of Commerce. Our success comes from seeing students get accepted by the college of their choice, listening to the parents tell us how happy their child is, and watching the pride in a students eyes as they excitedly show us their report cards and their better grades.

We design our programs to meet each student s individual needs. They are assigned a teacher who manages the sessions in order to help the student attain his or her potential. We attend school visits and IEP meetings with parents to not only show uniformity but also to stress that we are working in the best interest of the child. We will also meet with our students on a one to one basis each month in order to get their feedback as to how they feel their programs are going and to assess if the programs are meeting their needs.

Our teachers are trained educators; most of them work in the Montgomery Public School system. They come to the center after their school day so that they can share their knowledge and their love of teaching with our students.

We consider the parents an integral part of their children s educational process. We meet with parents at least once a month to not only review the progress we see, but to also offer advice regarding how they can help at home.
