We personally love Rhonda and so does our dog, Xena! I wouldn't leave her with anyone else, EVER! Rhonda is flexible, considerate of our needs and very much a pet lover.

At first Rhonda seemed like she knew what she was doing by coming over and observing us take care of our pets daily needs and getting to know our cats. But after our vacation and returning home at 2:30 in the morning, we were very wrong to trust her with our pets and our home.

We chose Rhonda because she is licensed and insured as a pet sitter for both cats and dogs. After explaining our concerns about our door being hard to close (due to weather stripping) and detailing litter box procedures as well as receiving two updates during our vacation of our cat's status, we felt comfortable coming home knowing our cats are extremely well trained and have never had litter box issues before. However when we returned home we pushed open the unlatched door and were greeted by an overwhelming stench of week old litter box in our brand new two month old fully refurbished apartment that had smelled like brand new carpet when we left. After walking the apartment we found 4 large piles of cat poop that were very well aged, lining a wall that could be easily seen from any point in the room. The tub the litter boxes were in was full of small flies and the pee pads, used as a liners to protect the tub from loose litter, were soaked to the core with pee and poop, staining the tub. As a result of the litter box neglect, poop was tracked throughout the brand new apartment, over our furniture, and in our bed. The cats also were very skittish to see us when usually they greet us at the door, purring and loving on us. There was a hand full of cat treats around one of the food dishes and the presorted food bags labeled with their names were still half full on the counter.

Later that day when we met in person to discuss our concerns with her performance, Rhonda dismissively denied everything saying she could not smell or see any cat poop outside of the litter box even after showing her multiple pictures as evidence. Further more she didn't even know our cats names or gender after being with them for 8 days "playing with them and feeding them daily." After explaining our frustrations about needing to clean the apartment for 3 hours after returning home and retraining our cats she denied all responsibility and proceeded to sneak out the front door while we were still talking to her and left peeling out of the parking lot without saying anything or offering any compensation for her neglect or the destruction of our apartment. She sneaked out as we were asking her about compensation for the need to steam clean the carpets due to her neglect of the litter boxes causing the cats to poop in the other rooms..

During the next few days after our vacation we spent over $100 dollars cleaning and retraining our cats to use the litter box. We have come home to find piles of poop in rooms on multiple occasions since we have returned from our vacation, something that we never had to deal with before.

DO NOT USE RHONDA AS A PET SITTER. SHE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT YOUR PETS OR PROPERTY.
