My Goals and Philosophy of Child Care

* Each child is an individual who has his/her own rate of physicaldevelopment and own pace of learning. Each child is accepted, loved, nurtured, and taught as an individual with this thought in mind. * Encourage and build each child's imagination and creativity. * Instill a greater sense of self-worth and encourage self-confidence. * Provide activities and an environment that will nurture the child's self-esteem. * Every child is guided through the day with positive reinforcement in all activities, always encouraged to try to try again, and is never pressured into participation of any activity. * Discipline is always handled on this belief: The child is a good person - it is his/her behavior that is unacceptable and needs to be changed or guided to a more acceptable means of expression. * Parents are welcome to visit their child anytime during the day. I encourage parent involvement and participation, and I enjoy getting to know all the parents. My background in Child Care: * Two children of my own. * Infant/child CPR & First Aid Certified * Registered Medical Assistant since 2006 * Girl Scout leader since 2008 Welcome to our Home Day Care for Children Hours of Operation: Effective June 1, 2013 Monday - Friday Like you and your family after a long and full day of work, my family and I value and enjoy our "quality time" in the evening. Please call as soon as you know you will be running late or your child will be staying the night. Evening childcare begins at 6:00pm. We schedule Sundays for FAMILY DAY and CHURCH. Our Fee is: Daily $25 a Day per child (If your child is in our care between any of the hours of 5:30am - 6:30pm) Minimum of 3 days Required... Hourly $5 an hour between the hours of 6:30pm - 5:30am Before School $25 a Week After School $25 a Week Late Fees $10 a day starting on Saturday Morning Fees are DUE on Friday for the week just passed and are considered late the next day. Like most people I have obligations to meet and I count on your weekly fee to meet them. I will have an Invoice ready on Friday morning of what is owed for the past week.
