Hooked On Preschool

Hello! My Name is Jessica Matthiae, I own an In-home Preschool. I also offer before and after school program for NKES district, as well as a summer program. I concentrate on children 3 and older to learn and grow together as we prepare for Kindergarten. I like keeping a small group to be able to work with each child's individual needs. We start out with the basics: colors, basic shapes, number recognition and counting 1-10 and work up from there. Some of our little ones are working on letter sounds, sight words, can spell their name, recite days of the week, recognize numbers up to 30, and even beginner addition! I love to make learning fun! Each week we have a new theme we focus our activities around, we love to sing and dance, do arts and crafts, and play outside. On a private 5 acres we enjoy the volley ball net, basketball hoop, playhouse, bikes,trikes, and scooters, jump rope, hula hoops, chalk, nature walks, sand and water table, picnics, and power wheels. In the summer we have a pool and other water play (optional). Inside we have a spacious playroom, dining room with lots of board games and fine motor activities, indoor trampoline, lego table, and occasional age appropriate movies and Wii games. We also enjoy the occasional field trip! I am Infant/ Child/ Adult CPR and First Aid Certified. I prodide morning and afternoon snack as well as lunch.
