Honeysuckle Doulas is a collective of Postpartum Doulas and Lactation Specialists. We care for newborns- as well as the entire family.
What we do:
- teach newborn care techniques
- give lactation support
- mother the new mother
- significantly decrease incidence of postpartum depression
- organize the nursery
- empower parents
- some sibling care
- some pet care
- run errands
- prepare meals
- perform light housekeeping duties
- provide community resources.
Honeysuckle Doulas are teachers, counselors, coaches, and mothers. Some members have twins, most of us have breast fed our children for 9+ months, some of us are working on post graduate studies. We are a diversified collective of caring, motivated, and non-judgmental professionals.
