I was a loyal customer for 18 months. Recently paid for a deep cleaning and things weren't done thoroughly or completely omitted. "Forgot" to do the toilets and the refrigerator?? After I texted to mention the toilets, of all basic things, Melissa didn't show up for her confirmed, regular visit today. I had to text to get the response she wasn't cleaning for me anymore via text. I guess I shouldn't have mentioned I had to clean my own toilets after paying her $130! LoL. No notice, no communication from her side. I am currently dealing with long term illness and Melissa knows this, she abandoned the commitment she made to be at my home once a week. She wasn't professional enough to at least have the courtesy to give me a notice or let me know, so I could start working on another arrangement during this time. They basically just "wipe" everything anyway. If I had to clean up a spill from the floor after they had been here, the paper towel always came up brown from tile or wood. "Natural"doesn't necessarily mean clean. She also never dusted unless asked. Just wiped around all objects and didn't move anything to be thorough.
Probably best used for a vacation rental and not a home that actually gets lived in. My house is only 18 months old and the sinks and bathroom tile are never fully clean. I even supplied them with expensive Kohler brand sink cleaner and still had to clean more myself. I was stuck in a situation where I needed the help though, so tolerated whatever I got. Good luck, I hope she works out better for you. Just accept whatever you get, don't make any comments or request anything more or she'll just ditch you for something easy. She ACTUALLY told me this while complaining about her other customers to me. Anyone she decides isn't what she wants to do, she just makes something up to not take the job or go back Then finds an easier or better paying client. I requested she return the $ I pre-paid for things she asked the last time she was here to do "next time." She knew full well she wasn't returning. Who does that?!
