We are a team of two young professionals who are long time Naperville residents and graduates of Wheaton Academy & Aurora University. We have been cleaning homes and helping families for ten years. Home Sweet Home Cleaning Service has decided that the hole in my ceiling is not an important customer service response.
They continue to be unresponsive. I have given them the opportunity to pay the damage or even to bring in their own contractor to fix it and they are not willing to negotiate.
As a business owner - I feel that they should honor the mistake and consider it a priority to get corrected.
Next up Yelp, Google and BBB.
To remind you all what happened....
One of their cleaners let the water from the shower head spray all over the bathroom floor. Soaked it to where the water seeped through to the ceiling below.
We hired Home Sweet Home Cleaning Service back in January to clean our home. Primarily bathrooms and all common area floors. For the most part, each month, they did an OK job. But TODAY I had 2 cleaners,neither could speak or understand English. One of them decided to let the sprayer in one of the 2nd floor bathrooms spray water all over the floor, which then seeped through the floor and through the ceiling of the first floor. The pictures aren't the best, but here is the start of what needs to be repaired.
But to make matters worse, I asked what details, paperwork, pictures they needed to make this right for the repairs and they are no longer responding.
Anyone have similar issues?
And BEFORE you ask - NO the pipes are not leaking!
