Home Safety Assessment

As a former Occupational Therapy Assistant, I've completed hundreds of home safety assessments for seniors. We'll go through each room, assessing the layout, contents, and safety of each. I'll help to identify where low cost improvements can be made, as well as when commercial equipment would be better used. I also go over subjects such as creating a safety net of caring people, as well as safety with medications. Overall, my goal is to make it the safest possible environment for your loved one to thrive independently, for as long as possible. The assessment usually takes approximately 1 hour, and the cost is $25.00 per hour, including travel time.
