Newly licensed family home child care program in Sandy Hook, CT opening in September of 2013! We are the only home daycare in Sandy Hook!
Located in the Cedarhurst community; minutes off I-84 exit 11 or Rt 34.
Openings available!
Ages: newborn-2 yrs, 3-5 years, and before/after school care.
Hours: 7 a..m-6:30 p.m.; available for extended hours, weekend and overnight care.
Rate: $225/week full-time.
Program Description:
We offer a play-based curriculum covering all fundamentals of early childhood education. We love the outdoors, keep a garden, read every day, encourage an appreciation for music, and restrict TV to rainy days. Having a background in special education, the provider is qualified to care for those with varying degrees of need and can tailor curriculum to address specific concerns. We also provide a meal program and healthy snacks.

8:30 - 9:30: Songs & Stories, Art/Sensory activity
9:30: Morning Snack
10:00 - 11:00: Outdoor play (inclement weather - gross motor play indoors)

12:00 - 2:30: Rest & Relaxation
2:30: Afternoon Snack
3:00 - 4:00: Outdoor play (inclement weather - gross motor play indoors)
4:15 - 5:15: Fine motor stations & free play
5:15 - 6:00: Dinner
6:00 - 6:30: Clean up & Pick Up
