Hi there! I am a NYS certified teacher-turned-SAHM now doing daycare in my home since 2008. Besides TLC and basic needs, I offer personal attention, individualized play-based education and active, always supervised play inside and out. I value reading for all children, and we write, draw, paint, creatively play every chance we get. We love to go for walks on our quiet cul-de-sac and even into the park trails when numbers and weather allow. We venture outdoors almost daily (only when it's absolutely treacherous do we not get the fresh air). Positive behavior management fostered problem solving, and the children grow each day. Playdates and playground visits help us develop our social skills. Food-plate meals and snacks are provided, or families may bring their own food. Diapers, wipes, weather-appropriate outerwear, and a complete change of clothes for each child is required each day. Reasonable rates. Many references available.
