Hello!! We are Jen and Jordan, a mother/daughter duo who love working with children.
OUR PROGRAM:
Our early childhood program addresses the development of the whole child with lots of individual attention and care. We feel that babies and young children learn and grow the best in an environment that responds to their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual needs. We believe children build positive self concepts through interaction with a rich and varied environment, other children, and supportive adult role models. Our program will offer a balance of free play and structured activities in a small group setting. We believe that children develop self confidence when they are respected and listened to. Children enhance their sense of initiative and competence when they do activities based on age appropriate abilities and interests. Our program is designed to provide exciting and appropriate learning experiences for your child. The children will become familiar with colors, shapes, numbers, letters, singing songs, exercises, and children s books. Language and literature experiences will lengthen their attention span and create enjoyment in the world of books. Your child's natural creativity and urge to experiment and to discover are a part of every day s activities. The children will be encouraged to socialize, take turns, share, and learn about the feelings of others. They will also be urged to explore their world. The experience of early socialization, structure, and free play all balanced to their needs, is excellent for small children and can be developed through our educationally focused child care.
OUR PHILOSOPHY:
We firmly believe that the most important years in a child life are from birth to kindergarten. During this time a child learns at an incredible rate developing their memory, manners, and socialization skills. As a mother and child care provider, we feel it is essential to expose a child to as many different activities as possible to reach their intellectual potential. We also believe children deserve a positive environment in which to grow physically as well as emotionally and we believe that keeping children involved in different activities will eliminate some discipline problems. We feel that communication between the provider and the parent is vital in building a positive experience for the child. We want the child to know that we are working together for the same goal-----a happy, healthy, well-rounded child
