I have a B. A. in History from CSULB. I studied and gained career experience in the secondary education field for several years before landing a job in municipal recreation. For nearly 10 years I worked, supervised, and developed successful afterschool drop-in programs, day camps, pee wee sports and special events for K-12 kids and absolutely loved the positive relationship outcomes that developed as a result of that position.
Over the years I became the go-to person to babysit, tutor, house sit and dog sit due to my trustworthiness and quality of work. My patience and empathy has served me well with special needs children and family pets. Children generally enjoy the time I spend with them because I don't mind getting dirty and playing games!
