Hickory Small Animal Hospital opened its doors in March 2009 with the goal of offering the best veterinary care possible for you and your pet. We are a full service veterinary hospital offering the latest in diagnostic equipment and veterinary medical services.We are also the only veterinary hospital in Tangipahoa parish following the American Animal Hospital Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners three year vaccination guidelines. Our veterinarians are proud members of the Louisiana Veterinary Medical Association, American Animal Hospital Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners. In 2014 we became the first and only AAHA Accredited hospital in Tangipahoa Parish.

We have been using them for about 5 years and lately I am disappointed in them. Called today to get my pug in to see the vet. He has an ear infection. Was told they couldn't see him till Wednesday. That's 5 days away. I'm sure they wouldn't have there kids or themselves wait 5 days to see a dr for an ear infection. It's just cruel to do thar to animals. I am now looking for a new vet for my 2 fur babies after this.
