Based on a personal needs assessment, the companion (caregiver) and older adult (care receiver) select the most appropriate services for the circumstances. A caregiver provides emotional, physical, and social support by helping the care receiver stay connected to society. Caregivers offer an array of non-medical services.

List of Services: Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) and routines such as getting out of bed , Caring for during the night, Driving to activities, appointments, and errands , Encouraging and planning social activities to keep the care receiver busy and enjoying a good quality of life, Reminiscing including music chosen by the care receiver, Entertaining with activities, conversation, games, hobbies, and reading aloud to, Escorting to/from places such as but not limited to: hospital, meals, movies, plays, religious services, senior center, therapy centers, Exercising to maintain physical movement and range of motion,
Helping with planning, scheduling, and keeping appointments,
Interacting with family members about their loved one's care,
Monitoring and advising if the care receiver is showing signs of dementia (specially trained caregivers), Performing light housekeeping tasks such as but not limited to: changing bed linens, dusting, ironing, laundry, mopping, taking out garbage, vacuuming, washing dishes, watering plants, Preparing and cooking meals, Providing respite care (as needed), Standing by for bathing assistance to prevent the care receiver from falling, Shopping for groceries with/for the care receiver, Taking care of pets (as directed), Traveling companion for trips, Walking and mobility assistance, Reminding to take medication, Schedule An Assessment

Service Pricing: -$21 per hour - ($19 per hour for CARE.COM CUSTOMERS till January 22, 2020)
