Helping Hands Live-In Services, Inc. provides private duty senior care in their residences on a 24 hour live-in basis. Two caregivers rotate schedules (usually 3 or 4 days on, and 3 or 4 days off). The live-in caregiver is on duty and available during the entirety of their shift, with a reasonable amount of down time during the day, and the ability to get 8 hours of sleep during the overnight hours. The caregiver can and will assist during the night, but cannot be expected to remain awake for extended periods oftime, or be called on repeatedly. Our services include personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders and assistance, light housekeeping and laundry, transportation to errands and appointments, companionship, pet care, etc. Helping Hands specializes in live-in care as a way to offer an affordable alternative for those in need of 24 hour care, but have legitimate financial concerns about long term home care. 24/7 live-in care is less than half the cost of 24/7 hourly care.… Read more
