I was a Helmwood customer since 2011. Both my dogs Rio and Yumi were their long term customers until death. They are VERY over priced with terrible customer service. I have seen their customer service went down the hill as the years went by, especially since Claire retired. Their medications are over priced. They over charged me on my Paw plans with NO explanation. I left numerous messages for a return call but they were ALWAYS busy. They sent a "text" to my house phone to ask me for more money! Their manager Monica was very rude and unprofessional.
All she cared was getting my money if not she will send me to collections. She had no sympathy that my dog just died. My Yumi passed away on 25 December, no sympathy card from them. My Yumi was a patient there for 9.5 years! I've since received sympathy cards and flowers from Metropolitan Vet in Louisville and Chewy. Helmwood is all about money! Very disappointed especially after being a loyal customer for over a decade! DO NOT bring your pets there!
