Please take a moment to get to know me and discover what I can offer to you and your family. My name is Yolanda. I am a proud parent of two wonderful, well-rounded children, which has given me over 33 years of experience caring for my own kids, who I consider to be my heaven-sent blessings.
I operated a licensed childcare service out of my home in North Austin for 4 years. Afterward, I relocated to Westlake where I opened, owned, and directed a childcare facility licensed for a capacity of 40 children in East Austin for 5 years. Currently, I reside in South Austin, 78748, operating a preschool out of my home. I have a deep affection for South Austin, and most importantly, I'm passionate about what I do. I have earned my Child Development Associate credential and regularly attend regional conferences and local training sessions to stay updated.
In 2021 I had the privilege of being hired by TWC to coach in-home childcare providers across Texas. This contract ended in 2024, and it was truly an honor and a pleasure to support these providers and offer resources to help them deliver quality care to their communities. My focus was not only on coaching them in their role as providers but also on helping them understand that they are professional business owners who are passionate about their work.
I have created a faith-based nurturing environment for children, offering a childcare program that fosters creativity, independence, confidence, and social, emotional, and physical development. Our faith-based curriculum is designed to enhance thinking skills, sensory development, small and large muscle development, and language skills. We believe every child deserves an education that nurtures their mind, body, and spirit, and "The Good and The Beautiful" curriculum helps us achieve that goal.
My facility is licensed by complying with the Texas Minimum Standard Rules, ensuring a safe, spacious, and comfortable space for your children. I am regularly inspected by The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, Child Care Licensing, providing you with peace of mind while your children are under my care.
Your child will receive sincere care and nurturing. I aim to foster their social success, academic achievement, and readiness for school with confidence. In my classroom, there is constant engagement between the children and myself. It's essential to me that the children feel loved, appreciated, acknowledged, and heard, which is achieved through respect
