Heather's In Home Day Care

Hello! My name is Heather, I am currently 24 weeks pregnant and expecting my first baby in August. I am in the process right now of getting licensed to run my own in home day care. My services will be available starting November 4, 2013. I am looking to take care of just ONE or TWO children in my home during the day. I will have my finished basement set up for childcare. We have a good size yard that will allow for the children to go outside and play. I plan to run my in home daycare like a preschool. We will have a daily routine that will include: Educational Learning, Arts & Crafts, Play Time, Snack/Lunch Time, Outdoor time & nap time (If needed).

About Me: I am 27 years old and recently moved to the Twin Cities from Florida for my husbands job. I have my bachelors degree in Communications from Florida Southern College. At one point during my college career I almost changed my major to Education, so I have taken a few child education classes. I graduated college right as the market was crashing in 2008 and I took a job as a portrait photographer at a studio in Orlando, Fl. I worked with children of all ages all day long and it brought so much joy to my life. I have also worked as a nanny for 2 families (one family in Florida, one family in Minnesota). Aside from that, I also grew up babysitting all the neighbors children. Needless to say, I adore children and look forward to talking to some of you about your child care needs.
