Heather's Daycare & The Lookout Point Inc. Youth Center

I provide a safe and secure, home away from home Daycare. I have been in business for almost 9 years out of my home and just recently moved my Daycare into the 1st floor of The Lookout Point Youth Center where I The Director at. We provide a variety of breakfast items, healthy snacks and lunches. We offer an educational approach to our Daycare where we introduce the core learning items such as alphabet, numbers, shapes, and colors. We also have a short bible story each day along with multiple other activities such as baking, Circle time where we talk about the weather, date and season. We also take weeks where we learn about specific things like dinosaurs, weather, safety, etc. We add in fun crafts and hands on activities so that they can really understand what we re teaching. On top of all of this we still make time for stories, Life Skills and Sensory time. Each child has a resting time after lunch to help them rejuvenate. We are an extraordinary Daycare. Not a commercialized Center but truly one that still has that at home feel.
