About
I am a 38 year old mother of four boys. I have been running my in home child care for almost 20 years. I provide an educational and engaging environment for children of all ages.
While children are in my care they are given one on one level appropriate curriculum in addition to various group activities. Examples of these are:
* Kiddie Kardio- we will spend 20-30 minutes every morning doing various fun and stimulating "exercises".
* Circle Time- we will sit down as a group and discuss the day of the week, month of the year, weather conditions, etc.
* Arts and Crafts- We will use a wide variety of media to create works of art based around seasons, holidays, and other fun topics.
* Curriculum structured to prepare children for kindergarten, both academically and socially.
* Outdoor play activities- We will spend time outdoors exploring and playing. I live less than 1/2 mile from a Park and will take the kids there in addition to regular field trips to local museums, aquariums, etc.
While in my care they will also receive a nutritious morning snacks, hot homemade lunch, and a healthy afternoon snack. The children will participate from time to time in preparation of fun snacks of their choice.
