Hello, my name is Alexis Nelson and I am the owner/operator of Heart to Heart in Home Senior Care. My journey as a caregiver began in 2015 when I became a certified home health aid and certified in CPR. It has always been my dream to be the owner of a home health agency. It brings so much joy to my life to be able to lend a helping hand to the elderly, sick and injured. I have a Bachelors of Arts degree in Health Services Administration and I am a licensed homemaker and companion provider through the Agency ForHealth Care Administration. I have cared for over 100 patients and I count it as a blessing to be finally living out my dream. Watching my aunt struggle to take care of her husband during his last days, made me realize that the world needed Heart to Heart in Home Senior Care. My goal is to assure that family caregivers have more support. Your income or financial stability should not determine whether or not you or your loved one can age with greater hope and success. Heart to Heart in Home Senior Care is a licensed and insured senior care company that caters to individuals who need extra help with activities of daily living. It is our duty to provide a supportive and comfortable environment; assist with phone calls and correspondence; provide recreational activities and friendly conversation; assist with errands and supervise activities, including taking medication and dressing; provide transportation of client to physician, recreation and activities; meal preparation, planning and shopping; cosmetic assistance, light housekeeping and other services authorized.
