We are a Family Child Care Home who's passion for the development of children is at the core of our philosophies! My name is Amanda Wilson and I am the primary caregiver. It is our passion that drive's us to provide a safe, loving and learning conducive environment for the angel's who are placed in our care.
I have been caring for children since I was sixteen and my passion has done nothing but grown and developed into the reality of being able to be a positive impact in a child's development and life.
I have my Bachelor's in Education Studies. I am fully licensed by the State of North Carolina's Department of Child Development and Early Education and the Department of Health and Human Services. I am CPR/First Aid/AED Certified and ITS/SIDS Certified. I participate in the Child and Adult Food Program which means that your child will receive balanced, healthy meals daily. I also participate in the Child Care Resources Program which provides financial assistance for childcare. I aspire to the best at what I do, which lead me to voluntarily participate in the North Carolina Star Rated Licensing Assessment Program. Earning the highest number of star's for my program, which is 5, is my goal. I have been through the assessment and am currently awaiting results.
Your child will be encouraged to learn through guided reading, discussion, group activities, individual activities, natural learning environment and free play.
