Hello, I'm Cat! My family and I are relocating to Fort Collins and I will be starting a small waldorf inspired preschool in my home. I have a spirited 2 year old daughter and we would like to welcome two toddlers (2 and up) to our home. We plan on providing care from 6:30 am until 6:00 pm. (this is flexible). Please contact me for rate information. We move in March and plan to open in April.
A little about Waldorf: an educational style that emphasizes the role of imagination in learning, striving to integrate holistically the intellectual, practical, and artistic development of pupils. Using tools such as stories, songs, art, purposeful movement and daily outdoor exploration, the Waldorf method promotes the development of the whole child.
A little about me: I worked as a Montessori preschool teacher and center director for four years before pursuing a career as a personal trainer and certified medical assistant for 14 years. My husband owns and operates a food truck and we are excited about the opportunities that Fort Collins will open for our family!
