A little bit about myself, I am 28 years old and a mom of a 5 year old boy. I have spent 6 years active duty Air Force as a pharmacy technician in the last two years in the Air Force Reserve also as a pharmacy tech. I currently go to school at UAA to obtain a degree in elementary and special education. I also have a year experience working at The ACES as support staff for students with disabilities and emotional disorders. I am CPR certified and have a background clearance card. My husband is active duty Air Force. We have just moved back to Alaska from Arizona where I had a home daycare for 2 years!
I have been watching kids in my own home for 2 years now. My hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30-5:00. I charge $150/week which includes two snacks but you will need to bring a box lunch (I also offer sibling and military/first responder discounts). Full-time spots ONLY and only ages 2 years and older please. I have a parent handbook and information packet I can give you or email you if you are interested. It goes over any and all information you could possibly want regarding the security and safety of your child. Hardwood floors throughout home. Fenced and backyard and a playground in the neighborhood. The neighborhood is very safe and has zero crime or sexual offenders. If you have any concerns about your child's safety please bring them to my attention
I personally believe that every child has unique and wonderful qualities that are brought out to shine though imaginative interactive free play. Schedules are loosely followed here at Hannah's home child care in order to best support your child's personal interest enrichment. Activities are focused on number, letters, and shapes (based on age and skill level) but are personalized on your child's interests. In my experience, this process makes learning fun and exciting for the children! With the small 1:4 ratio, I love being able to take the kids on field trips and adventures to get the most out of everything Alaska has to offer!
