Happy Times Learning Center is a Delaware Licensed, Family Child Care Level II and Montessori inspired Preschool Learning Program. Happy Times is part of Delaware Stars for Early Success, the state s quality rating and improvement system for early childhood programs.
HTLC is a small home-based affordable preschool school with all the bells and whistles of the larger centers. HTLC is small enough to offer our children a personal touch. I, Mrs. Mallick have 30 years of teaching experience in Early Childhood Education First aid and CPR certified, a mother of three grown-up children. I have many years of experience working in a renowned Daycare in Delaware and New Jersey. I am a proud participant of Delaware Stars program. I believe that to achieve a well-rounded development, we should provide the children a home-like safe and nurturing environment. I also believe that one constant teacher through your child's preschool years is very important.
Happy Times is a small; home-based and mix-age school setting that provides an exciting, loving caring and nurturing the environment. Our small classroom setting helps in bringing out a child's potential by giving him or her hands-on experience with the materials specially designed for their ages. Our class room setting stimulates child s all domains of learning e.g. physical Fine motor, Gross motor, Social-emotional, approaches to learning, thinking, communication. I well prepare preschool age children for kinder garden readiness curriculum.
Our Each day include circle time, music & movement, science activities, arts& crafts, outdoor, indoor playtime etc. email/ text messages to families, biweekly Lesson plans, monthly newsletter, twice a year conferences, assessments and parenting workshops.
I provide Before & After school care for Olive .B. Loss Elementary school. The Cedar Lane Early Childhood Center, Alfred G. Water School Middle School, and M.O.T Charter School buses stop just outside of my home. I offer Homework assistance, Computer Time to finish assignments and provide daily healthy snacks to school age children at no cost to families.
Currently, I am looking for children to join Happy Times who is between 2-1/2 and 5 years of age. I have openings for Half-day, full day, part time and full day Montessori preschool program.
