I have been providing child care in my home since 2008. I am the mother of two children, ages 13 and 10, and I am grateful to be able to be home for them at the same time as providing a beneficial service for members of my community. My philosophy of child care is that the children have a safe space to be children- to play, eat healthy food, and rest. I have always liked to think of my space as a home away from home environment. I love being around kids, and I feel that they love being around me as well! I do not provide an educational program; however, I feel the kids learn so much during their time with me. They learn how to share, how to create personal boundaries, how to respect the space of others, and so much more. I feel what they get in my care is a strong foundation before heading to preschool or kindergarten.
