I have a home day care under the US Army Family Child Care program.

Family Child Care 101: FAQ
Q.What is family child care?
Family child care, or home daycare, is a smaller group care option than daycare centers that takes place in the home of a registered or licensed provider.
Q.What is a family child care provider?
A family child care provider is the title of the person who owns and operates a daycare from their home.
How is family child care different from babysitter or nannies?
Family child care provider is NOT a babysitter or nanny.
While there is nothing wrong with being a babysitter or a nanny, they usually only care for the children of one family.
Family child care providers must be very active and try to keep children not only entertained but also keep them active with daily routines and schedules to support their development, they must keep to prepare younger children for kindergarten; when family child care is done right there is very little "sitting" involved.
My slots for children are:
2 for Infants(6 weeks old - 23 months old)
3 for toddlers and up(2 year old - 12 year old)

All children who enroll into care, they need to be registered in Fort Polk CYS program.
