Happy Babies Home Care

I offer a full service home care, specializing in infant care but accepting children up to age 6, which offers a warm and nurturing environment, that is based out of a fun, safe and clean home in El Cerrito. The home is located on a quiet street, with easy access to freeways, carpool and Bart station, making it convenient for easy drop offs and pick-ups. Along with providing a nurturing and constructive environment for children to grow and thrive, I believe in mutual respect between caregiver/parents/children. In my many years as a professional nanny and as a mother, I have had the opportunity to work with children and parents to reach their personal goals and I will incorporate that experience in the home care. I have helped prepare toddlers for preschool and preschoolers for kindergarten and beyond through proper and clear communication, stories, music, pretend play and art. I use back to basics approach and treat each child as a unique individual with unique needs. I provide an age appropriate, fun-filled, play day that is tailored to meet each child's individual needs. The benefit of a small group setting will allow for special attention and care to the needs of each child and a safe homely feel. My daily schedule includes indoor and outdoor play times with free and guided play activities that allow for growth of imagination and lots of discovery and interactions with other children. I will have a helper to help facilitate outdoor trips and other activities as need be. I am infant CPR, First Aid.

Work experience as a nanny;
In my 15 years as a professional nanny, I took care of children from infants to 10 years old and worked in different situations such as taking care of multiple children of different ages, share situations, children with special needs and twins among others. I was also handling other individual services alongside nanny activities like potty training, cooking, cleaning and light housework.

Services:
As a 24/7 full-time home care my schedule and rates are broken down to full time, part-time, early morning and/or evening care and drop-ins. With some notice I also offer emergency backup care, over-night and/or 24hr care, drop offs and pick- ups, date nights, weekends and holidays. I also offer two snacks and other meals can be discussed.
