Growing Great Learners Active offers a unique style of childcare. We value physical activity and believe that children do their best in a stimulating environment. Our children gain a foundation of health and wellness that they can take with them for the rest of their lives. We treat everyone with respect and value communication between our staff and families.

We first opened in NE Portland in 2011 as an in home daycare. In November 2014, we expanded to a much larger facility in SE Portland.

Our goal is to have a fusion between in home and center base childcare. We value what in home childcare can offer but we also know it can be limiting for services and activities. This expansion has given us the ability to offer your child an active daycare experience along with their academic learning. We believe that physical wellness is an important aspect of a child's development and so it has become embedded in our daily schedule. Our kids are always on the move, whether it is jumping jacks, exercise bands, sports, or kid yoga!
